Not more than 2 y. ago, I remember seeing IS teaser for the first time.
As a SciFi creep I was instantly sucked into the story, in spite parody feel (which I despised mostly). SciFi should be allways a strong faceslap in the scientific-ish way, therefore there was no place for fun o.O
While Im typing this Im following the feed about new ISequel script. In the same time its pleasant to witness such a vibrant community response & feedback for this special (in our heads) movie. All that vibrant community is supported with precise V-logs from Timo himself...
There is still a lot of production timeline to be met and key elements on behalf decisions "whose gonna cast better crew".
And thats just a scratched tip of the huge storyline!
Iron Sky The Coming Race goes back in time 65 million years, and works its’ way up from there, shedding light into the core mystery of humankind: where did we come from, who created us – and why?
Onto this, the film crew must stitch a good portion of background research on many topics..from Hollow Earth myth to Nazi secret weapons & black Ocult projects, to the vast incomprehensible details in movie, in order to present it as real as it can.
I can mention only few details of it (SPOILER ALERT): Edward Bulwer-Lytton‘s book Vril, the Power of the Coming Race, through Jules Verne’s works and all the way to David Icke’s reptilians, much has been written about the topic whereas their job is to find “truth” amidst it all.
